PradeoKey is a security USB flash drive that gathers 15 protection modules. It aims to provide complete and unnoticeable protection to users who will simply have to connect it. This flash drive is adapted to visitors and recipients of any company. Visitors' strong protection
When the USB is inserted for the first time, the protection system is getting installed. Once this operation is done, the security USB flash drive uses a patented process and acts as a security virtual gateway between the computer and the network. This security gateway contains 15 protection modules (antivirus, firewall, web filter, etc.) made to analyze the produced network streams. User's network protection and real time threat detection
When the protection system is installed, an antivirus scan is launched on the visitor’s computer. Then to get protected from the visitor’s attempts to get connected (on purpose or not) to the company’s network the security gateway analyzes with the 15 modules the visitor’s outgoing stream. So, every hacking attempt (port scan, deny of service, etc.) is blocked by the gateway embedded on the driver. PradeoKey has a module that analyses the risks and can calculate the level of threat coming from the visitor. If this level goes beyond the limit set by the administrator, the visitor is automatically placed in a preventive zone where the network access is restricted or even cut.Advantage: the security flash drive blocks the threats coming from visitors' stations and manages to anticipate a severe attack by placing them to a preventive zone.
Management of network access restrictions
Through a central platform, the administrator has the possibility to set the specific access policies for several groups of flash drives which will be used by visitors. In this way, the administrator can manage the setting of access for each USB group and will have to precise what he allows for both entering and outgoing streams.Advantage: the freedom given to visitors is completely configurable.
The visitor can't connect to the network without the flash drive
An installed authentication system demands the connection of the flash drive to give visitors access to the network of the company. It is also up to administrator to impose them the use of the flash drive, either when the user is outside the premises, although his visit, or impose this obligation only when he is in the company.Advantage: the visitor’s station is constantly under control from the moment he arrives till the moment he leaves.
Simple and unnoticeable for the visitor
When the security USB flash drive is inserted, its function is completely unnoticeable and doesn't bother at all the user in his everyday activities (apart from those concerning network accesses). Then the use of the flash drive is very simple: you insert it and it works! If the user disconnects the flash drive, the network connection is deactivated and he can't have access to it anymore. Moreover, the administrator gives the flash drive to a visitor for a certain period of time. When the limit date expires, the system is automatically uninstalled and the visitor’s station is in the same state as it was before his arrival.Advantage: apart from inserting the flash drive, there are no other constraints.
