Smart-NS is a solution that includes software installed on mobile stations and a remote control platform. The capacity of this software to form a virtual security gateway between the computer and the network, thanks to a patented process, make it particularly pertinent. In other words, Smart-NS virtualizes and embeds a security gateway directly on the stations. In this way, since the users have this virtual gateway installed, the administrator has the guarantee that the users have the same level of optimal protection inside or outside their structure. During the installation, the software reserves a small part of computer resources to create the virtual security gateway (it is totally unnoticeable to the user). From that moment, all the stream is passing through this gateway, which analyses the risk level by its 15 modules (cf. table: antivirus, firewall, etc.). As for the security, the problem of mobile working lies mostly in the unknown environment where the mobile users are placed. Smart-NS proposes administrators to define a limit of tolerance towards the attacks. If the virtual gateway, which was installed on a station, detects that the security level of the user is over this limit, it understands that the environment is dangerous and puts him automatically in the preventive zone.
